Using motion sensors, touch sensors and LED lights, the KP Health Innovation design team created an interactive installation to share
the Studio’s innovative story.
Project Overview
The KP Sales & Marketing team approached the Health Innovation team for an opportunity to collaborate and share our innovation story with Southern California insurance brokers. Our design team came together to create an experience that is unlike your typical “who we are” asset.

Designing the experience
After several brainstorming sessions the design team decided to build a touch sensor wall. Using sound, touch, and sight the wall tells the story of the Health Innovation Studio. The left side of the wall identifies the pain points that patients experience today. When users touch a pain point a paper plane appears and soars to the corresponding solution on the opposite side of the wall showcasing concepts the Studio is working on for the future of care delivery.
